Extractions
A tooth extraction is done under local anaesthetic. The removal of visible teeth is a relatively simple procedure.
We do our best to save teeth, however when there is extensive trauma, decay, or a deep fracture in the tooth, we may advise a tooth extraction. Impacted wisdom teeth may also require extraction. Recovery time is usually within 3 – 7 days.
Impacted teeth or teeth that are broken below the surface require a more involved procedure or referral to a specialist.
